Boston University Military - Army ROTC (Reserve Officers Training Corps) is one of the best military courses in the country and can be included in your college curriculum. Our program is rooted in a rich history and located in downtown Boston, adjacent to Boston University's Fenway Park. We offer rigorous and exciting training to prepare you for your future as a 2LT in the United States Army. Our training is challenging, we always remember that you are a student first and take your studies and education very seriously. Our program includes contract work at Fenway Park and work at Faneuil Hall. Between those big events, we provide military tactical training with the best equipment and resources through our partnership with the Massachusetts Army National Guard.

There are many scholarships available, details of which can be found on our "Official Scholarships" page. There are on-campus Army ROTC scholarships awarded annually to outstanding cadets as determined by a professor of military science. Scholarships are awarded based on student merit and grades, not financial need.

Although Detachment 355 is hosted at Boston University, we maintain transfer agreements with Boston College, Brandeis University, Bridgewater State University, Emmanuel College, UK Law School New, Northwestern University, Simmons University, UMass Boston, and Wentworth IT. This means we provide excellent Air Force ROTC training and experience to students at other universities.
Students studying at schools and cross-town schools attend the Leadership Lab and Aerospace Studies course at the Charles River campus.
